About The Light Foundation
At Light Foundation, we promote and facilitate a safe and welcoming environment for healthy and positive dialogue—open and honest conversations between people and communities who would otherwise not meet, therefore dissolving barriers created by mistrust and fear.
We provide tailor made and expert scholarly advice, awareness, training and education to those from all backgrounds and professions, curious and seeking guidance and understanding around the Islamic faith—providing access to authentic educational resources.
In recognising common values, ethics, and principles amongst faith communities and none, we bring local and national leaders in faith, sport, education and government together, to challenge all forms of intolerance, discrimination, and hatred—both in the public space and online.
In creating a culture of understanding and peace, where difference is celebrated, we organise educational and social events rooted in interfaith cooperation, community and social cohesion—enhancing mutual respect, lasting friendships and peaceful religious coexistence.
