OPEN DOORS

Come As You Are

On the first Thursday of each month, we come together to discuss important issues that affect our communities. These gatherings provide a valuable space where members of the public, faith leaders, and local leaders can share concerns, exchange ideas, and collaborate on solutions to common challenges.

By meeting regularly, we ensure that community voices are heard, priorities are clearly identified, and collective action drives positive, lasting change.

What to Expect

Each gathering has its own character, but the ingredients are usually the same: a short talk or presentation on a relevant topic, open conversation and Q&A, and time to connect with others over food and drink.
Topics rotate across faith, community, current affairs, social justice and shared values. Speakers range from Islamic scholars and community leaders to guests from other faith traditions, public life and the arts.
